Cavities in Toddlers

Cavities in Toddlers - Doc, I want to ask why my son (2 years) molar teeth cavities and lightly browned. Though my children never to eat less candy snack, even if ice cream is also a sense of strawberries, brush their teeth 3 times a day too diligent. Trimakasih the physician explanation.

Answer :
Tooth decay or dental caries is common in children aged 2 years, even teeth have not grown all, there have dental caries. Is the child's mother was taught to brush your teeth right? Whether after a toothbrush and then drink milk again?

We have to remember bahwaanak age 2 years was very happy to eat a snack and drink milk with a dot, especially before bed. Snack foods and milk will also stimulate the emergence of plaque and dental caries eventually become.

Mechanisms of dental caries incidence occurred starting with the food consumed, then the teeth are not cleaned properly so that the tooth surface plaque buildup will occur that contain acid-forming bacteria. If the incident is repeated, especially children are given milk every evening there will be a buildup of plaque, caries will ultimately arise. The thing to remember, keep teeth clean, and children are taught the correct toothbrush.
